A team in Australia have recently created a giant printer that can make a whopping 33ft worth of solar cells per minute, claimed Gizmodo. (Lead Scientist) But what exactly does this mean for our planet?
We know that solar electricity is one of the cleanest sources of electricity, but also very costly. This printer will change everything however. Using relatively simple technology we can now print these solar cells that do not work as efficiently as others but are remarkably cheaper.
“We’re using the same techniques that you would use if you were screen printing an image on to a T-Shirt", said project coordinator Dr. David Jones.
It seems that our future may be involving a lot more cleaner energy due to the creation of this magnificent Solar Printer!

ROOF TOP PANELS
PURE Energies will install solar panels on your roof for free, and you will earn money every year from your solar system. No hidden costs, no fine print. You don’t have to pay anything for the solar panels or their upkeep. All thanks to the Ontario Government’s feed-in tariff Program.
But whats the catch? There isn't one. By joining the free solar community program you will be capitalizing on some government funding that is available right now to support the installation of solar panels on your home. The goal of the province is to replace coal-fired power plants and create 50,000 green tech jobs by the year 2014.
The cost of Coal and Fossil fuels rise, the cost of renewable energy sources, including Solar, decrease.
More homes in Massachusetts are using Solar Panels for energy due to the new rise and demand for Non-Renewable energy sources. In turn the costs of Renewable sources have lowered
